The typical target demographic for Green day is the fans of the punk genre aged between the ages of 18 years old to 50 years old. With in this demographic some fans will like them for certain reasons like they can relate to the lyrics and others just because they like the songs and videos. The older audience used to listen to them in their youth and makes them remember the time they were young and carefree. Green day have a world wide following not just in America and Britain.
