Album covers are a big part of making money for singers and bands, and a first impression is very important when it comes to the customer deciding on whether or not they want to buy the CD. The album cover for Five Finger Death Punch's album 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1' features a skeleton with horns wearing clothing that the band members would wear. This creature can be seen as the devil, as the CD is called 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell', implying that the demonic figure represents 'Satan' as it has glowing red eyes and an evil grin on it's face. The colour palette includes colours such as black, red and orange, which are colours that represent danger, mystery and anger. In the background there are two fallen angels, whih suggests that they are in hell, which relates to the name of the CD.

Here is the album cover for the Five Finger Death Punch CD 'American Capitalist'. This cover features alternative artwork, and is not the original cover. Band member Zoltan Bathory explained why they decided to change the artwork, saying "We are the people's band, and a lot of fans really liked this alternative artwork we had on the tour posters. So many times we heard, "THAT should be the album cover" - so we figured we'd make it happen. If you like the original cover, that's cool too - I guess the original will be somewhat of a limited item from now on, so there you go." This shows that the band rcares about their fans a lot and do what they think they will like the best, and make sure to keep them happy. They got responses from fans about this artwork saying that a lot of them prefered it to the original artwork, so they took this into consideration and changed the cover to keep their fans happy and respond to their needs.

A tour poster for Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach. The poster has a big monster in the middle, with some weapons in his hands, showing him to be very dangerous. The colour pallette includes mostly black and red, colours which connote danger. The poster represents the band's tour as 'dangerous' and has connotations of anger, with the monster holding the weapons. The poster definetly shows that the music and tour is aimed at adults, and is not suitable for children. The monster is the main thing that the audience will look at on this poster, and I think it is there because the tour is being sponsored by Monster Energy, as it says at the top of the poster. They have also encorporated lime green into some of the writing to go with the Monster Energy logo.
